Elin GarzaAh. Greetings, Lieutenant. I understand congratulations are in order.MeteorMission accomplished. Needles is neutralized, General.Elin GarzaYou've done very well. Needles was a brilliant man - taking him down was no small feat. I haven't informed Kardan yet, but I doubt he'll be upset. He and Needles never did see eye-to-eye. Purely different ideologies, those two. Kardan happy can be very useful to us. An angry Kardan means trouble, even while in custody. Try to remember that.MeteorNeedles was insane - I doubt anyone saw eye-to-eye with him.Elin GarzaAnd yet, Tavus never had any problems with Needles. Perhaps that should've been my first warning. And there's something else, Lieutenant. Tell me, what do you think of Sergeant Dorne?MeteorSergeant Dorne helped me when no one else would, General.Elin GarzaYes, your reception on Taris wasn't ideal. I'm glad you managed to find the one useful officer in the entire outpost. I looked over her service record. Impressive stuff, I must say. Were you aware that Dorne served with the Imperial military for almost two years, Lieutenant?MeteorShe told me she grew up in the Empire. A personality like hers is a pretty strong clue to her background.Elin GarzaYes, the accent is a dead giveaway. Pure Dromund Kaas. I suspect her life in the Empire involved no small amount of discipline. Sergeant Dorne earned more commendations in her two years of Imperial service than most soldiers earn in ten. Since joining the Republic, she's earned two Medals of Valor, both for rescuing wounded soldiers under fire in enemy territory. This woman has led an exceptional career.MeteorSomeone with Sergeant Dorne's skills would make a great addition to my squad.Elin GarzaI agree. Sergeant Dorne is Havoc Squad material, without question. The sergeant's loyalty to the Republic has been proven to my satisfaction. I want Dorne in Havoc Squad, Lieutenant. Her service record is unmatched, and her assistance to you on Taris was beyond commendable.MeteorSergeant Dorne would make an excellent addition to Havoc Squad.Elin GarzaIt's settled, then. Congratulations, Lieutenant - you're halfway to a full squad. Havoc Squad needs a medical officer, and Dorne's firsthand experience with the Imperials is invaluable. I'll contact Colonel Gaff to notify him about the transfer. You should go and inform Sergeant Dorne yourself, Lieutenant. Contact me from your ship when you've finished. Garza out. |

Elara DorneLieutenant, sir. Is there something else I can do for you?MeteorI want you on my team. Consider this your official invitation to Havoc Squad, Sergeant Dorne.Elara DorneLieutenant, this... this is the greatest honor of my career. I'm speechless.Aric JorganMembership in Havoc Squad is the highest achievement in all of the Republic Armed Forces, Sergeant. Congratulations. But don't get too excited, Sergeant. It's not as impressive as it's made out to be.Elara DorneSergeant Dorne, reporting for duty, Lieutenant! I'll prepare my Regulation 6 Personnel Transfer documents at once!MeteorYou've more than earned this, Sergeant. |

Elin GarzaLieutenant. I assume Sergeant Dorne took the news well?MeteorSergeant Dorne is honored to be in Havoc Squad.Elin GarzaOne other detail: Were you able to retrieve a sample of the weaponized rakghoul disease that Needles was developing?MeteorThe last sample took a stray blaster bolt while I was dealing with Needles.Elin GarzaThat's too bad. Research division would've done anything to get their hands on a sample, and I could've used the favors. That's all for now, Lieutenant. Congratulations once again. Garza out. |

Elara DorneSir. My equipment and personal effects have been stowed in full accordance with transport code section two. If I may say so again, sir, it is truly an honor to be selected for Havoc Squad.MeteorI'm glad to have you on the team, Dorne.Elara DorneThank you very much, sir. I intend to begin reviewing and memorizing all relevant dossiers and intelligence reports on our assignment immediately. If I discover any points of confusion or areas where I believe I can contribute, I'll submit a full 587-B report.MeteorCarry on, Dorne.Elara DorneYes, sir.---from "Promising Stars" |
Dialog transcript |
Elara DorneExcuse me, sir. May I have a moment of your time?MeteorWhat can I do for you, Dorne?Elara DorneAs a condition of my service in the Republic military, Personnel Division requires that I report regularly on my activities. However, my Havoc Squad missions are classified and cannot be shared with Personnel Division. I'd like to ask if you would vouch for me when I report in.MeteorI'll be happy to help. Haven't you proven your loyalty by now?Elara DorneThank you very much, sir. That is a matter for Personnel Division to decide. We should use the ship's secure line.---from "Organized Mistrust" |

Elara DorneCaptain Kalor? This is Elara Dorne, personnel number 22-795, reporting in per regulation 449.KalorPlease, Elara, you don't have to give me the full rundown every time. I know who you are. How are things?Elara DorneWell enough, sir. Allow me to introduce you to the commander of Havoc Squad - my new CO. Sir, this is Captain Kalor, Army Personnel Division.MeteorGood to meet you, Captain.KalorThe pleasure is mine. Meeting you is a real honor.MeteorIs this necessary, Captain? I don't see that Dorne's loyalty needs to be proven further.KalorOh, we're all very proud of Elara. This is just part of the process. Tell me about being in the top squad in the Republic, Elara. You must be keeping very busy.Elara DorneI'm sorry, Captain, but you aren't authorized to know about Havoc Squad's activities. My CO will have to vouch for me from now on.KalorWhat? Elara, I don't want to be a hard case, but rules are rules - this "top secret" junk won't fly.MeteorAll Havoc Squad activities are highly classified, Captain. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.KalorHeh. Inconvenience.MeteorThis is how it is, Captain. You don't like it, talk to General Garza.KalorI might have to. This situation is not acceptable. Just... just carry on, Elara. We'll talk about this after I've had a word with my superiors. Kalor out.---from "Organized Mistrust" |
Dialog transcript |
Elara DorneHm. I wasn't expecting him to react so strongly. Surely he didn't expect me to report on classified information?MeteorProtecting classified information is a top priority.Elara DorneYes, sir. I'm surprised the captain didn't agree. If you'll excuse me, sir, I have several matters to attend to. Thank you for your time.---from "Organized Mistrust" |

Aric JorganInventory report, sir. Food and medical supplies all look good, but our munitions are getting low. Thought we'd have enough to last us the year. Already requisitioned Command for more. Guess I shouldn't be too surprised. See more action in one day with Havoc than you see in a month with the Deadeyes.MeteorWhat kind of work did you do for the Deadeyes?Aric JorganWe mainly ran decapitation strikes, neutralized enemy commanders before a Republic offensive. Left the opposition leaderless, disorganized. Sometimes we'd camp outside the enemy's base for weeks, waiting for a clear shot. Eventually we'd hit our target, pull out and let the ground pounders mop up. Can't say there's anything particularly noble about killing a man from half a klick. The sniper's life isn't for everyone. All about that one shot that'll make or break a battle.MeteorYou must've chalked up quite a kill count.Aric JorganOver two dozen confirmed. Eventually, I was offered a promotion and a post on Ord Mantell. I took it. Smart move, career-wise. More men, more responsibility. But I wasn't interested in fighting separatists. I signed on to fight Imperials. Anything else I did was career dressing. One day I'm picking off Imperial brass, the next I'm pacifying mobs of angry seps. After my transfer, command of the Deadeyes fell to my XO, Torve. Smart kid - a little green, but the potential was there.MeteorIf he learned from you, I'm sure he's a fine officer.Aric JorganOnly so much a person can be taught about leadership. You've either got what it takes, or you don't. Come to think of it, I haven't been in contact with the Deadeyes for awhile. I should find out where they're stationed, catch up.---from "Catching up" |

General Vander contacted Aric Jorgan and offered him his old post, a promotion and command of the operations on Ord Mantell, but Jorgan declined the offer. |

Aric JorganSir, you should know... General Vander contacted me. Said he'd talked it over with the brass and finagled a way to get me back on Ord Mantell. Offered me my old post, a promotion and command of their operations there. Pretty sweet deal, overall.MeteorI hope you turned him down. You're a part of Havoc Squad now.Aric JorganYou think I'd head back to some backwater planet like Ord Mantell? Fact is, I've been hitting the Empire harder than ever since I joined Havoc Squad. I didn't enlist to win medals or promotions. I enlisted to protect the Republic, to prove my people have a place here.PLAYER: Get your priorities straight. The squad comes first. Everything else comes second.MeteorThe Cathar will always have a place in the Republic.Aric JorganI hope so. We already lost one home to the Mandalorians. I'm not about to let the Empire take another.---from "A New Home" |
